Big mistake to use Himalaya Kailash Tours & Travel Group in Chhetrapati, Thank. Best use an actual trekking. company who specializes in treks. Less expensive and they truly hire fun, interesting, and helpful guides. Himalaya Kailash Tours & Travel gave me a guide who left me, didn't guide, has bad back, took my money indirectly by lying so I had to take a bus instead of a car, as one example, so he could pocket the money and porter stole from me. Terrible experience. They made me pay to get him to Pokara and sleep in a hotel, as one first red flag. It was a mess using the people they connected me to So use a trekking company who does just treks to have a fun, safe time. I didn't know and learned the hard way. Nepal is great otherwise. This company overcharged me and thinks it is okay. Beware. And if you trek alone, lodges give you free lodging if you buy breakfest!:) My guide and porter got extra food and I didn't and I paid their way for 5 days. Imagine that? I wish I used a trekking company, and not Himalaya Kailash Group :( I hear Nepal Trekking Team is a Great Company. Check them out :)
