Job Presentation
- Utilise creative software suites to design and refine presentations, graphics, and other materials that promote NiB's work.
- Craft high-quality public events such as openings, workshops, forums, seminar and conference speaking engagements, news releases, and online media outlets.
- Proactively identify, produce, and promote content with minimal supervision.
- Review and edit major deliverables, including reports and studies, for readability, spelling, grammar, accuracy, punctuation, consistency, and logic.
- Maintain an event calendar and support the execution of programme events, ensuring they are properly publicised, well-attended, and exhibit appropriate and FCDO-compliant marketing materials.
- Lead the development of Success Stories, including identifying successful programme activities to feature, conducting research and interviews, drafting content, sourcing images, formatting/design, managing the internal approval/review process, and coordinating distribution.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of FCDO communications and branding regulations and inform/educate others on these requirements and necessary.
- Interface with BEK communications staff to ensure all communications and published materials meet FCDO and DAI standards.
- Manage the programme's social media content and accounts.
- Any other activities assigned to the role by the MEL Manager.
- Bachelor's degree required, degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Media Studies, Advertising or other related field preferred.
- 2 years of relevant professional work experience is necessary for candidates with a master's degree, and 4 years of relevant technical experience is required for candidates with a bachelor's degree.
- Experience in similar roles supporting communications and/or public relations activities for public or private sector organisations or donor projects in development work (FCDO experience is preferred).
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to quickly identify and craft compelling Success Stories.
- Strong creative design and computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to and understanding of private sector (market, stakeholders and policy regulations) in Nepal.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively.
- Flexible and adaptive personality, with a self-starter attitude willing to take initiative, remain accountable, and take ownership of work products.
- Strong, written, oral communication, and presentation skills in the Nepali and English language.
