Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Assurance:
- Perform inspections at various stages of the vehicle assembly process to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Ensure that all vehicles meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct final quality checks on completed vehicles before they are dispatched.
Defect Identification & Resolution:
- Identify defects or discrepancies in automotive components and assembly processes.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, defects, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit detailed quality reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Utilize digital tools and software for data entry and documentation.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor adherence to safety and quality protocols during the assembly process.
Continuous Improvement:
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve assembly processes and product quality.
- Stay updated on the latest quality control techniques and automotive industry standards.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to maintain a quality-focused culture.
Qualifications:
· Technical or vocational training in automotive technology or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
· At least 5 years prior experience in quality control, inspection, or the automotive sector is preferred.
· Familiarity with automotive components, assembly processes, and quality standards.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify even minor defects.
· Basic understanding of measurement tools and equipment used in quality inspections.
· Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
· Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with digital documentation and data entry.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies.
