Review Amazing stay in Chitwan National park and Jijibe village

My boyfriend and I stayed one week in Nepal. Hari (the owner of High Himalaya Trekking and Expedition) helped us organised a 2 days trip to Chitwan National park and we also stayed 2 days in his lovely home in Jibjibe village with his family.

We had a great time in Chitwan National Park, where we saw rhinos, deers, crocodiles, peacocks, etc. - during safari or even simply when walking on the riverside next to our hotel. Everything was well organised, the hotel was very comfortable, and the food was good too. We didn’t need to take care of anything; everything was planned for us and easy.
The 2 days spent at Jibjibe village were really interesting and enriching. It was a total immersion and we learnt a lot about the local culture. Hari and his family were very kind and welcoming, and so were the people in the village. We stayed in Jibjibe during the Dashain festival and got to see and participate in the celebrations and traditional rituals. We will never forget this experience! Thank you Hari and your family for all your kindness :)

The communication with Hari to organise the trip was really easy (by email & Whatsapp) and flexible. I highly recommend High Himalaya Trekking and Expedition to organise your trip in Nepal! And do not hesitate to stay a few days in Jibjibe village if you want a true Nepali experience… The agency also runs a humanitarian association that supports rural schools, libraries, hospitals and families in the villages.
